Chris Dunn for North Carolina

A native of Maryland, United States, Christopher Dunn received his Bachelors of Music, Masters of Music and Graduate Performance Diploma from Peabody Conservatory. Mr. Dunn was a recipient of the Peabody Merit Award and Howard County Arts Scholarship during his studies with Julian Gray, Ray Chester and Manuel Barrueco at the conservatory.

Mr. Dunn is owner/president of Classical Guitar Ceremonies Inc. performing for up to 300 clients annually providing music for Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia, Pennsylvania and Delaware. Clients have included private clientele, state politicians, senators, diplomats, and Fortune 200 companies. Mr.Dunn's company was featured in "The Knot" 2008 Real Weddings.

Stevenson Ridge is a beautiful historic property offering venues for many different kinds of events. Although the location is near downtown Fredericksburg, the grounds of the property are secluded and very scenic.
With its lavishly attired lodge for large events, seven historic homes and cottages for rent, and its spectacular grounds, Stevenson Ridge is a premium destination for weddings and special events of every kind.
Our photos feature a wedding ceremony set up on the grounds, the exterior of the Riddick House which can accommodate up to six guests, and the exterior and interior of the main lodge.

Max received his Master of Music Degree from the Yale School of Music where he studied
with Benjamin Verdery. Max is also a graduate of the Peabody Institute of Johns
Hopkins University in Baltimore where he earned both a Bachelors of Music and a
Graduate Performance Degree in the studio of Manuel Barrueco.

Max has received awards in the Appalachian State Guitar Competition, Montreal Guitar
Festival and Competition, Sierra Nevada Guitar Competition, and was awarded First
Prize in the Middle Tennessee State University Guitar Festival and Competition. In
2010, he made his Carnegie Hall debut performing a new work by Samuel Adams. Max
performs throughout the United States and abroad including recent performances of the
Villa-Lobos Concerto with the Bay-Atlantic Symphony in New Jersey and the Panama
National Symphony. While maintaining his classical repertoire, Max enjoys collaborating
with other musicians and composers in a wide variety of styles, from the avant-garde to
popular music.

Katherine has performed in the United States and Europe, and has been featured as a guest artist at the Bethlehem Guitar Festival, the Charlton Kings International Guitar Festival (England), on the BBC, and at the Dutch and Finish Embassies in Washington, DC.  Recent performances have taken her to Mendocino, CA, Bethlehem, PA, Fairfax, Virginia, Washington, DC, Honolulu, Hawaii, Portland and Brunswick, Maine and the Shenandoah Conservatory in Virginia.  

She has won the Rising Stars Recital Competition and has received the Levine Faculty Development Grant, the Peabody Career Development Grant, the Bowdoin Summer Music Festival's Perfoming Associate Award, and has been a three-time recipient of the Levine Performance Grant.

DC Violin Duo

This amazing guitar and violin duo brings their versatile music programming to your event. Lead by the guitarist, Troy, they have a wide range of music appropriate for both wedding ceremonies and private events/cocktail hours. 

Troy regularly performs solo and chamber music concerts throughout the United States, Europe, and Latin America. Troy won First Prize at the Fifth Portland International Guitar Competition. Other honors include winning First Prizes at the Lamont Chamber Music Competition and the Montpelier Recitalist Competition

Dr. Adam Pettit has engaged audiences across the United States, Canada, and Mexico with performances characterized by the Los Angeles Times as "meditative," and "brilliantly colored, articulated and focused." Locally, he has performed at a number of established venues such as the American Guitar Society, KPFK's Global Village, LACMA's Sundays Live, and the Los Angeles Bach Festival. Dr. Pettit is also an experienced chamber musician, most
notably with the award-winning Helios Guitar Quartet, with whom he recently performed at the 2011 Guitar Foundation of America Convention in Columbus, GA. Dr. Pettit earned his Bachelors and Masters degrees from the Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore in the studio of Julian Gray. He then continued his studies at the University of Southern California, where he earned the Doctorate of Musical Arts degree under the tutelage of William Kanengiser, James Smith, Brian Head, and Pepe Romero.

In addition to his solo appearances, Dr. Pettit collaborates with a number of ensembles in Southern California. Past appearances include the Santa Barbara Master Chorale, the South Coast Symphony, and most recently, the Orange County Guitar

Dr. Pettit serves on the guitar faculty at the Pasadena Conservatory of Music and Orange Coast College.

New York City Guitarist, Oren has performed hundreds of concerts in the U.S., Europe and Asia with a wide range of classical and new music groups, including the Met Chamber Ensemble, Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, New York City Opera, New York City Ballet, New York Philharmonic, Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, Mark Morris Dance Group, Da Capo Chamber Players, New World Symphony, Absolute Ensemble, Poetica Musica and Speculum Musicae. Recent concerto performances include the “Aranjuez Concerto” with the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, and a new concerto, “Zephyr” by David Del Puerto, with the New Paths in Music Chamber Orchestra. A champion of contemporary music, he has premiered over 400 works with guitar. He also performs, tours and records with the new music ensembles Cygnus, and Fireworks. The past 2 summers he performed works of Carter, Davidovsky and Chin at the Tanglewood Music Festival. Oren can be heard on over 40 commercial recordings and film, including the classical guitar parts for the recent film “Everything is Illuminated.” His latest solo recordings include “Another’s Fandango”, featuring 500 years of guitar music, and “First Flight”, a disc of 10 premiere solos written for Mr. Fader by New York City composers.
Oren has been on the guitar and chamber music faculty of the Manhattan School of Music since 1994.
